How many time have you decided not to try something because you thought you would fail? Think about it? Don't lie to yourself, we all have these little fears. I've got many fears of failing and there's only one thing that will get me to overcome these fears, it's the realization that I will probably fail at them but in the end I could become the BIGGEST success at the thing I once feared.
Our mind always seems to go toward failures first and not towards the positive winning side. The biggest question we should ask ourselves is what's the worst thing that could happen if I attempt what I'm afraid of. There are people that play with wild animals, race cars extremely fast and speak in front of thousands of people, and they all do this for a living. Most people would never think of doing any of those things EVER. So why do they do it? Because they want to, and they want to really badly! It's an intense desire for them, a passion.
I don't watch sports, it's just not my thing, yet I've heard so many times somebody watching a game yelling something like: "Come on!!! Why did he just do that when he could have....." You know exactly what I mean, we all have ideas on what people should be doing at all times. There's a difference between good advice and free advice. Good advice is great when your attempting something and somebody who has more experience can guide you. Free advice is when somebody tells you what you should do. Most of the time I have no time for free advice, and neither should you. The best way to tell the difference while getting advice is free advice makes you uncomfortable and upset, while good advice really makes you think, it gets your radar up thinking....Hmm! This sounds really good.
We should all pick what we want in life, go after that goal and listen for good advice.
Stay motivated
